Heat exchangers for gas drying in geothermic energy projects (agricultural sector)
Project description

Geurts Heat Exchangers designed and manufactured two heat exchanger sets for gas drying. These units are used in two geothermic energy projects in the agricultural sector , with a gas flow capacity of 500 Nm³/hour at a gas temperature of 65 Celsius degrees and 400 Nm³/hour at a gas temperature of 105 Celsius degrees.

The system including stainless steel shell and tube heat exchangers and demister vessels, built in a frame and connected with connection piping, have a design pressure of 16 barG. The result of these projects together will bring a huge benefit in CO2 savings of ca. 25 Mt per year in each project, equal to the emissions of in total approximately 20,000 households.
